You can change application settings using the P&ID Configuration (CFG) - Settings. For example, you can have the program change from Flanged valves to Socket Welded valves at a predetermined "small" size.

In the P&ID settings dialogue you can also specify if the components repeat ("Repeat Draw") is ON or OFF .
To access the Settings configuration start the Mech-Q P&ID then use the "CFG" tab. This will start the Mech-Q P&ID CFG dialogue - Select the "Settings" tab. This will display the "Mech-Q P&ID Settings" dialogue.
